Annual weed that invades most lawns, particularly cool season varieties that are not dense and mowed regularly. Spreads primarily by seed; however, in parts of Southern California can remain alive year round and will spread vegetatively.

Maintaining a dense, healthy, well groomed turf along with hand weeding patches that occasionally appear will, in most cases, control Goosegrass in cool season lawns.

In warm season grasses Goosegrass can be controlled with a selective herbicide; however, in cool season varieties, a regular fall application of a pre-emergent herbicide is recommended... ALWAYS READ & FOLLOW LABELED DIRECTIONS!
